In late 2006 Benny (Michael Benniston) laid a new green on waste land at the back of The Rag. This has been lovingly nurtured during 2007 and 2008 into a first class, large and very tricky Crown Green.

In late in 2007 The Rag Bowling Club was formed. The green, though fairly new is in super condition and is in a superb location with lovely rural views across open countryside and the edge of the Chase.

Fixtures are posted on the noticeboard inside The Rag and the Club House. Whether you want to play competitively or socially, or if would just like to spend a pleasant afternoon or evening watching the games, you will be made very welcome.
